 Class Rules
 General Class Rules - Limited Street / Outlaw Radial Tire
(2010 ORSCA Limited Street cars fit into this class)
 
1. 16 car qualified field.
2. Stock style and general shape car bodies. Stock body lines & profile must be maintained.
3. Must have mufflers. Except turbos.
4. Must have working headlights & tail lights.
5. Must have diaper.
6. Nitrous bottles in passenger area must have approved safety vent to outside.
7. Must have DOT approved drag radial tires (Mickey Thompson, M & H, Nitto, BFG, Hoosier) up to 12" width or any sidewall designated 30 x 10.5 max slick (no ‘W’).
8. Stock type chassis.
9. Front suspension
a. Front suspension aftermarket shocks, struts and springs permitted in factory location.
b. Aftermarket bolt-in K-members permitted.
c. Tubular A-arms permitted.
d. Aftermarket bolt-on spindles permitted.
e. Stock, unaltered frame rails required in front sub frame from forward mount of control arms back.


10. Rear Suspension
a. Rear suspension may utilize aftermarket replacement springs, leaf springs, and/or control arms.
b. Must have one hydraulic shock per wheel.
c. Leaf springs may be moved inboard.
d. Aftermarket sway bars permitted.
e. Mini tubs and coil-overs permitted. Rear frame rails must remain in OEM stock condition in all areas. Must retain stock frame rails in factory position, may be notched for tire clearance only. When notching, stock inboard section of rear frame rails must remain stock, unaltered & in the stock location. Max 18" notch in front to back direction.
f. Ridged mounted suspension prohibited.
11. Automatic transmission with converter or OEM stick shift with single disk clutch permitted. Bruno-Lenco with converter allowed. Air shifters and trans-brake permitted.
12. Clutchless transmissions prohibited.
13. Single power adder only.
14. Stock firewall must be maintained in stock location.
15. No wheelie bars.
16. Ladder bars permitted.
17. Qualifying will be side by side. 1st and 2nd qualifying runs must be in opposite lanes.
18. Must race 1st round to get 1st round loss payout. Must take tree under own power.
19. Bye runs - all vehicles must take the tree and run down the track.
20. Courtesy staging will be in effect.
21 After each qualifying and elimination pass, all cars must stop and weigh at the scales. If you lose eliminations and your opponent fails to make weight you will be reinstated into the eliminations only if you made minimum weight requirements. If both cars failed to make the minimum weight, both cars will be disqualified. It is the driver’s responsibility to verify with each scale, the weight of his/her car prior to each race day. There will be a 5lb error factor allowed.
24. Tech official have final discretion on all rules on race day.

Ladder - Outlaw ladder will be run. 16-1, 15-2, etc. If not full field, blanks will be loaded for unfilled spots.

1st round of eliminations - Opponent broke competitor must notify official timer (in tower) or race director no later than one hour prior to call for first round of eliminations. If this is done, an alternate will be placed in the last qualifying position, ladder will be reprinted. If closer than one hour prior to call for first round, opponent broke bye will be run.

Must take tree and be qualified car to receive first round money.

BMP has final say on all rules.
